I'm Going Abroad!

And YOU can help fund it!

If you personally know me, you know that I love travel.... like, a lot. When I came into college, I had no intention of studying abroad since I was double majoring in two completely different topics. There was no time for me to even think about leaving the country for my studies. I forgot about my desire to study abroad until I decided to alter my major. That opened so much free time in my course schedule that I can afford to take a lighter semester to study abroad and travel. After a lot of thinking, researching, praying, meetings with advisors, and talks with my parents, I decided on John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.

How cool is that????? The university is 1.5 mi away from the Colosseum and a short 5 hour train ride to Venice. Every time I tell someone that, I get chills. I will LIVE within walking distance of the Colosseum. Wow. With amazing experiences, however, there's always a downside.

Frankly, it's expensive, especially since I want to go on as many weekend trips as I possibly can. When else am I going to get to spend 4 months in a totally different country?? Despite the hefty punch to my wallet, I'm sticking with my gut to commit to it. I've talked to many people who whole-heartedly regret not going abroad in their younger years in college. I don't want to be that person. I don't want to look back on my college experience and wish that I did anything different than what I did. I want to be proud of the empire of experiences, friendships, connections, sights, photographs, and time alone with God's creation I've collected and experienced.

In doing this trip, one of my biggest life goals of graduating college debt free is being put in jeopardy. That's when I come to my last resort for financial assistance: my support system, the people who make me feel seen, the people who encourage me consistently to live the best life possible, and the people who actively help me achieve my dreams day after day. I can not thank you enough for all you've done and all that you will do for me. It means everything to me.

So if you are able, I ask that you consider making a financial contribution to my amazing adventures abroad. I've attached my Venmo and PayPal links on this page. Again, thank you for all of the support from my people at home, at college, and beyond. You'll be hearing from me in Rome in no time!
