ABOUT ME!

My Origin Story

My photography journey began in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. My dad purchased a GoPro Hero 9 on a whim, and I began shooting around with that. I began watching more and more YouTube videos by Peter McKinnion, and decided photography may be fun to try. My grandfather had an old camera that he didn't use much, so he let me borrow that for a while to see if I liked it. From that point on, I haven't stopped. I began shooting photography and videography with my high school buds Tim Brandenberger and Will Clark non-stop. I even went so far as to skip a day of school in March of 2021 to go on a trip to go on a weekend trip with Tim. That's when my first photo I deemed as "good" came out of my camera (featured below).

That trip was a turning point in my adventure of media. I began taking on clients for little shoots. The clients liked my work, and I used that money to buy my own camera and other gear. I try to travel as often as I can and always bring a camera with me to capture the best moments. I am currently in college pursuing a  major in marketing and a minor in digital marketing in hopes to find a firm that will utilize my skills to the fullest.

The future for me is pretty murky right now, but I either want to be in the field of video or marketing. Whether I'm working in sports with the NFL or producing trailers with Disney, I have plans to work on the big stage. I strive to grow my skills every day.
